We started with a station similar to one that came in the exam a few years ago.

Incomplete audit.
In a recent exam there was an "incomplete" audit.
The audit was about ECV.
The data was that:
Consultant A offered ECV to one group of women and had an 70% success rate,
Consultant B offered ECV to a different group and had a 30% success rate,
Consultant C did not offer ECV at all.
You were given this data and were asked to discuss how you would go about completing the audit process.

Then you had a roleplay in which you were asked to teach a trainee about adhesion prevention.

This was followed by a viva about fetal blood sampling.
We soon realised that this could be too big as it would include cordocentesis unless we made it about FBS  and labour.

Finally we had a roleplay with a woman asking about vitamin supplementation in the pre-pregnancy counselling clinic. We restricted the discussion so that it was just about vitamins to get round the problem of having to take a full history, do general pre-pregnancy counselling etc.
